Efter empirens avskalade klädsel och smycken och 1800-talets mer tillbakahållna smyckestil så präglas den här tiden av överdåd. När det gäller smycken så är det lager på lager som gäller, verkligen mer av allt. Det här halsbandet är tungt. Pärlorna och stenarna är monterade på metall. Den innersta länken mäter 36 cm, den mellersta mäter 59 cm och den sista mäter 72 cm. Med kedjan och låset kan man förlänga den upp till 10 cm till runt halsen och på längden. Jag vet inte så mycket om det här halsbandet, det verkar helt oanvänt, det är mycket välgjort men ålder och var det kommer ifrån vet jag inget. Vad man får tänka på när det gäller ett sånt här halsband är att pärlor och stenar är limmade och att man får vara försiktig med det.
