Det här glaset har ett motiv på Joe, the fat boy från berättelsen, The Papers of the Pickwick Club . Det finns fem ytterligare glas med andra motiv från Dickens. Glaset är 13 cm högt och mäter 7 cm i diameter. Det är i mycket fint skick.
1836 publicerades det första urdraget från den humoristiska, The Pickwick Club av Charles Dickens. I det avsnittet lanserade han karaktären, Joe, the fat boy som alltid är trött ,svår att väcka och snarkar.
Christmas glass with motifs from Dickens No 1
This is an English glass from the 1940s-1950s. The glass is frosted and has motifs from Dickens’ stories. This glass features a motif of Joe, the fat boy from the story, The Papers of the Pickwick Club. There are five additional glasses with other motifs from Dickens. The glass is 13 cm high and measures 7 cm in diameter. It is in very nice condition.
In 1836, the first extract from the humorous, The Pickwick Club by Charles Dickens was published. In that episode, he launched the character, Joe, the fat boy who is always tired, hard to wake up and snores.
