Det här är nog en av de vackraste kaffekoppar jag någonsin har sett .Den är tillverkad av den Engelska porslinstillverkaren Minton som har tillverkat mycket av Englands mest exklusiva porslin. Den är helt förgylld med vad jag tror 23 karats guld och är i benporslin. Den gjordes troligen någon gång under 1960-talets början men stämpeln började användas 1951. Koppen är sex centimeter hög och mäter sex centimeter i diameter, och fatet mäter 12,5 centimeter i diameter. Kopparna är i absolut perfekt skick och har tydligen aldrig varit använda.
Mintons startade 1793 i Staffordshire och var Europas ledande tillverkare av utsökt porslin under den Victorianska eran. Den var helt oberoende från 1793 till 1968. De gick samman med Royal Doulton 1968 och lades ner 2005. Som kuriosa kan jag berätta att kopparna som har nummerbeteckning H.4601 tillsammans med annat porslin från Minton med betäckning H.5183 köptes till filminspelningen av Bondfilmen, On her Majesty´s Secret Service 1969. Porslinet såldes senare på Chriisties auktion 2008 för GBP 1,063 vilket idag motsvarar 12383,14.

Gilded coffee cup from Minton
This is probably one of the most beautiful coffee cups I have ever seen. It is made by the English porcelain manufacturer Minton, which has produced much of England’s most exclusive porcelain. It is completely gilded with what I think is 23 carat gold and is in bone china. It was probably made sometime during the early 1960s but the stamp began to be used in 1951. The cup is six centimeters high and measures six centimeters in diameter, and the barrel measures 12.5 centimeters in diameter. The cups are in absolutely perfect condition and have apparently never been used.

I can tell you that the cups with the number designation H.4601 together with other porcelain from Minton with denotation H.5183 were bought for the filming of the Bond film, On her Majesty’s Secret Service in 1969. The porcelain was later sold at Chriistie’s auction in 2008 for GBP 1,063. today corresponds to 12383.14.
As we did not have access to the other porcelain, we have combined it with other porcelain in the picture to make it as similar to the picture from Christie’s auction as possible.
