Beskrivning
Mycket fint cigarettskrin i Art Deco, ca 1920-1940. Skrinet har en bas av mässing som är belagd med emalj på locket och i botten. Som dekor på locket sitter en spindel vars huvud troligtvis är en akvamarin. I emaljen ligger fina mässingstrådar som bildar formen av ett spindelnät. Inuti asken när man öppnar den finns det hållare för 30 cigaretter, det är så kallad Pop-Up funktion. Det finns inget som talar om ursprungsland , men kanske Frankrike eller England. Asken är i mycket fint skick, men det finns små repor i botten, ett normalt bruksslitage.
Cigarette case with spider
Very nice cigarette case in Art Deco, about 1920-1940. The box has a base of brass which is coated with enamel on the lid and at the bottom. As a decoration on the lid is a spider whose head is probably an aquamarine. In the enamel are fine brass threads that form the shape of a cobweb. Inside the box when you open it there is a holder for 30 cigarettes, it is a so-called Pop-Up function. There is no mention of country of origin, but perhaps France or England. The box is in very good condition, but there are small scratches on the bottom, a normal use wear.
