Beskrivning
En mycket vacker antik burk med lock i jasperware från Engelska Adams. Burken är tillverkad någon gång mellan 1896-1900. Den är i fantastiskt fint skick med oskadd dekor och i övrigt perfekt skick. Det finns en liten prick i dekoren som ser ut att vara från tillverkningen. Locket tror jag inte hör till från ursprunget då det inte finns någon fördjupning som håller den på plats och att den blå färgen är något ljusare, men på locket finns ett kvinnoporträtt som är bland det vackraste jag har sett, bara locket i sig självt är ett konstverk. Burken är 7,5 cm hög och mäter 7,4 cm i diameter. Undertill är den märkt, Adams, Est 1657, Tunstall, England.
Jar with lid in Jasperware from Adams
A very beautiful antique jar with a jasperware lid from Adams, England. The jar was made sometime between 1896 and 1900. It´s in fantastic condition with undamaged decor and otherwise perfect condition. There is a small dot in the decor that seems to be from the manufacture. I think the lid does not belong from the origin as there is no recess that holds it in place and that the blue color is slightly lighter. But on the lid there is a female portrait which is among the most beautiful I have seen, only the lid itself is a works of art. The jar is 7,5 cm high and measures 7,4 cm in diameter. At the bottom it´s marked, Adams, Est 1657, Tunstall, England.
