Beskrivning
Det här är ett kinesiskt penselställ från sekelskiftet 1800-1900. Stället är från Qingdynastin (1636-1912). Av vad jag kan se är den troligen gjord i rosenträ. Den är gjord på det klassiska sättet där delarna sitter ihop utan spikar eller lim utan de sitter ihop med anpassade fogar. Den har den traditionella utformningen av mönstret på sidorna och drakhuvudena längst upp. Den är skör då träet har torkat och det finns en nästan osynlig liten lagning i dekoren på sidan där en bit har gått av och blivit tillbakasatt. Allt sitter på plats och det finns inga andra skador. Stället är i mycket fint skick för sin ålder. Det är avsett för kalligrafipenslar som visas på sista bilden, men penslarna medföljer inte men finns att köpa separat. Penselstället mäter 36 cm på höjden, 34 cm på bredden och är 11 cm djup.
Antique Chinese Brush Stand
This is a Chinese brush stand from the turn of the century 1800-1900. The stand is from the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912). From what I can see it is probably made of rosewood. It is made in the classic way where the parts are joined without nails or glue but are joined with custom joints. It has the traditional design of the pattern on the sides and the dragon heads at the top. It is fragile as the wood has dried and there is an almost invisible small repair in the decoration on the side where a piece has broken off and been put back. Everything is in place and there is no other damage. The stand is in very good condition for its age. It is intended for calligraphy brushes as shown in the last picture, but the brushes are not included but can be purchased separately. The brush stand measures 36 cm in height, 34 cm in width and is 11 cm deep.
