Det här är en antik Fransk Te-behållare från 1800-talet. Behållaren är i porslin i vackra milda toner. Själva flaskan är i en aprikosrosa färg och ovansidan är grön med gulddekor. Öppningen och halsen på flaskan är förgylld. Proppen är i massivt porslin med kineseri på locket. Kineseri är benämningen på föremål och dekorer som ska se kinesiska ut men är västerlandets bild av hur de uppfattade den kinesiska konsten. Bilden föreställer ett kinesiskt par.Flaskan är i empirestil. Det här är vad man kallar Old Paris, små franska porslinstillverkare som fanns i en mängd liggande utanför Paris och var influerade av de stora porslinsfabrikerna. De tillverkade ofta vackra prydnadsföremål och som här ett vackert nyttoobjekt. Flaskan är stor och mäter på bredden 9,5 cm, på höjden med locket 13 cm och slutligen är den 7 cm på djupet. Flaskan är i mycket fint skick och har mycket små defekter. I halsöppningen verkar guldet skavts av men har lagats för länge sedan så bra att jag först inte la märke till det. Det finns två nästan osynliga som skrapmärken i nedre högra hörnet på proppen, i övrigt är den i mycket fint skick.
Antique Tea Container in Empire Style
This is an antique French Tea container from the 19th century. The container is made of porcelain in beautiful soft tones. The bottle itself is in an apricot pink color and the top is green with gold decoration. The opening and neck of the bottle are gilded. The stopper is made of solid porcelain with chinoiserie on the lid. Chinoiserie is the name for objects and decorations that are supposed to look Chinese but is the West’s image of how they perceived Chinese art. The image depicts a Chinese couple. The bottle is in Empire style. This is what is called Old Paris, small French porcelain manufacturers who existed in large numbers outside Paris and were influenced by the large porcelain factories. They often made beautiful decorative objects and, like here, a beautiful utilitarian object. The bottle is large and measures 9.5 cm wide, 13 cm high with the lid and finally 7 cm deep. The bottle is in very good condition and has very small defects. The gold in the neck opening appears to have been rubbed off but has been repaired a long time ago so well that I didn’t notice it at first. There are two almost invisible scratch marks in the lower right corner of the stopper, otherwise it is in very good condition.
