Grandios chokladkanna från Danska Bing & Grondahl. Kannan är troligen från 1800-talets senare del men det finns en del av empirens stil över den. Kannan är stor och mäter 27 cm på höjden och ca 16 cm på bredaste stället. Den är dekorerad med ett förgyllt lejon på handtaget och en bred guldkant på insidan och ytterligare tre förgyllda ränder. Det finns ett slitage på förgyllningen på lejonet och kantens insida som framgår av bilderna. Kannan är i mycket fint skick, det finns inga nagg eller sprickor. Däremot är locket limmat och det skulle behöva göras om på ett professionellt sätt.
Antique Chocolate Jug from Bing & Grondahl No1
Grandios chocolate jug from Danish Bing & Grondahl. The jug is probably from the later part of the 19th century but there is some of the Empire style over it. The jug is large and measures 27 cm in height and about 16 cm at its widest point. It is decorated with a gilded lion on the handle and a wide gold rim on the inside and three more gilded stripes. There is wear on the gilding on the lion and the inside of the rim as can be seen in the pictures. The jug is in very good condition, there are no chips or cracks. However, the lid is glued and it would need to be redone in a professional way.
