Beskrivning
Det här är en tallrik som kommer från Spode England. Den är i mycket fint benporslin och mönstret heter Fleur de Lys red. De här tallrikarna är någon gång från slutet av 1880-talet till runt sekelskiftet. Tallriken mäter 21,5 cm i diameter. De är i fint skick, men förgyllningen runt kanten har ett visst slitage och det förekommer något enstaka nagg på undersidan av tallrikarna. Spode startades 1770 av Josiah Spode. Han blev känd för utvecklingen av sitt perfekta blåvita porslin som har blivit kvar i produktionen sedan dess. Han blev även känd för formulan för fint benporslin. I dag ägs Spode av Portmeirongruppen som har sitt läge i Stok-On-Trent.
Antique plate from Spode Copeland
This is a plate that comes from Spode England. It is in very fine bone china and the pattern is called Fleur de Lys red. These plates are sometime from the late 1880s to around the turn of the century. The plate measures 21.5 cm in diameter. They are in good condition, but the gilding around the edge has a certain wear and there is a single notch on the underside of the plates. Spode was started in 1770 by Josiah Spode. He became known for the development of his perfect blue and white porcelain that has remained in production ever since. He also became known for the formula for fine bone china. Today, Spode is owned by the Portmeiron Group, which is based in Stok-On-Trent.
